Hello!
In December 2022, I began to completely automate my last job with Generative AI.
Now, I use 100+ bots and a few humans to help companies grow with Gen AI—as a consultant or employee.
My goal is to help software CEOs, CROs, CSOs and CMOs on their journey to becoming a Generative Sales and Marketing Organization™. The results are a 10–50-100X impact on business outcomes.

My methodology, book, and show are based on 25+ years in CX, artificial intelligence (AI), and product marketing.
[Automating with Gen AI since December 2022]
Note: Most importantly, I love people. And, teaching my daughter to love herself is one of the most important things I can do as a father. The ridiculously geeky business stuff below is just an addiction.

[The below pic is supposed to be funny. The pic below is a shout out to my man Albert E = MC Squared. When we used to hang, around the time he did his “tongue out pic,” I’d introduce him as DJ/MC Alb-E Squared. Dat a homie nick name, mon.]

Hello, I’m Adam.
For certain, I’m AI-enabled. Maybe, I’m already a bot?
[While on Earth, I’d like to help a ton of people any way I can. If I get paid for it, super!]
With GPTs, I’ve seen my 25+ years of go to market and product marketing experience become 10-100X more productive. Holy guacamole, what a software journey.
Generative AI is surreal. After 18 months of working on Generative AI, low code apps (14 years), and CRM + Analytics/AI (25+ years = nerd!), I wrote a book on Generative AI in B2B software for sales, marketing, & product led growth. At my last company, we designed a bot to replace my sales/marketing/architect job. Seriously! His name is ARCHIE. It is crazy to see a chunk of your job automated in such a fashion and so quickly. Draw-jopping.
Want to hire me?
I am always open to be hired as an employee, and I also work as an advisor/consultant/fractional-CXO to improve go to market outcomes. Fractional involves subscriptions/retainers. There is one venture studio I advise. If you want me to train or coach your team on Generative AI, I am open to ideas.
In everything I do … I use generative AI … extensively … on … go to market strategies, messaging, product roadmaps, and a variety of tactics. My approach integrates 25+ years of breadth across B2B (and some B2C) sales, marketing, product marketing, product led growth, and customer success—at leading software companies. Yes, I am ridiculously broad (lol), but I do speak every CX-related department’s language. And, I see Gen AI everywhere … like its some weird gift or unusually challenging curse :).
SHOW: The Generative Sales and Marketing Show™

Consulting Services & Methodology
My current approaches to business strategy and integrated go to market execution are based on the book. My consulting engagement outputs align mostly with product marketing functions. In addition, the results serve sales, marketing, product, customer success, and/or product led growth teams.

- The four activities above are customized to the unique needs of each client, even if in partial steps. Crawl, walk, run is a phrase I’ve heard many, many times. Too many :).
- We can start with an advisory discussion. I wouldn’t call it a sales call. It is two-way. I really love to help people and have a “creative bug” to naturally do so. How can I help you?
- After that, perhaps there is a 90-minute team training? Maybe a day to kick my tires? Another discussion? Let’s figure it out when we talk.
- Then, we can go “experientially deeper” (lol marketing fluff) as you see value. Perhaps you hire me as a consultant? An employee? Perhaps for a weekly advisory or some type of coaching session? Do a business, product, or CX design workshop? I love to help, however I can. Gen AI is going to be a crazy ride.
- Getting into the next four steps explains the approach. I’ll say lightweight generative AI can be fast. Really fast! But if you scale, it requires an XL size of iteration, much like an agile software development process BUT, BUT, BUT on many steroids. With Gen AI, the “baseline code” is written in English, not JavaScript, Python, SQL, Java, Rust, or Perl (eeeks…are there still Perl programmers out there?). Of course, there is more to it than just English.
- Once the process below produces high quality, foundational language (small language model) and structure (prompt layers), generative AI can be used to create any type of output at any scale.
Step 1: Research, Analysis, and/or Strategic Planning
This stage can use existing materials (e.g. a business plan, product strategy deck, or messaging doc) or set out to create NEW materials. (e.g. a messaging doc, website copy, outbound emails, etc.). Generative AI, first party, and third-party research is a regular occurrence.
[Important note: I always take a “null hypothesis” in step one. We assume all existing decisions are biased and wrong. This creates an opening to think in new ways because it forces you to. The good news it that you end up with 3 more perspectives, which improve the odds of solid, strategic decision-making.]
In every case, behavioral profiling is added from a neuropsychology viewpoint (as neuro-psych is a lifelong passion). A/B/C tactic testing can be used to confirm hypotheses, acting as strategic input. This ensures the Generative AI prompt is high quality. All of this work can be done for a company, business unit, department, or team.
Page 49 of the book (below) explains how strategic research can be done using Generative AI.

Step 2: Messaging Iteration A
The first iteration typically focuses on mid-level components of messaging. Some business consultants call step one “divergence” and the next two steps “synthesis,” but potato po-tah-toe. What do you call step 4?
In any event, in some cases, the starting point is high-level (See Step 3), or an iteration can cover both high (step 3) and mid (step 2). It just depends on where you are. I don’t force a templated approach on you. My deal is that flexiblity adds value and avoids bias.
Mid-level go to market messaging usually includes the design and development of 1) user and buyer personas, 2) ICP process change priorities and resulting metrics, 3) communication pillars and benefit prioritization, 4) competitive uniqueness, 5) feature prioritization, and 6) proof of outcomes (i.e., in-depth case studies). This information must be high quality, or the outputs will suffer in quality. Crap in, crap out.
Once a consolidated baseline of this messaging information exists, sales and marketing tactics can be created from generative AI at speed. In fact, generative AI can be used to create any content or media as depicted below on page 45 of the book. It can also be used to develop high-level messaging in the next step…step 3…and very quickly because this AI is great at summarization and context filtering. For example, mapping B2B products and services…to income statements is a breeze…at least in terms of how I prompt. Not all prompting is the same. Some are much better.

Step 3: Messaging Iteration B
High level strategic messaging components typically include: 1) A storyline, 2) value proposition and delivery (VDS), 3) tagline, 4) positioning, 5) elevator pitch, 6) brand promise, 7) creative/art direction, and 8) competitive uniqueness. Again, the work is supplemented heavily by Gen AI.
Page 50 of the book (below) provides a hierarchy of the messaging inputs and shows how tactical outputs are generated.

Step 4: Sales and Marketing Tactic Creation
Once some or all of the components above are done, generative AI is used to create all content.
In sales, this can include training, tooling, enablement, prospect research, emails, slide info, proposals, etc.
In marketing, this can include digital ads, website copy, PR, social media, case studies, blog articles, white papers, etc.
For your customers, you will begin to see a way to answer any question from a bot on your website.
Uh, oh. Not just yours! Don’t believe me?
Go check how Bing CoPilot is selling your company (or you) before they ever click to visit your website!!! It’s a thing in Q1 2024.
Page 51 of the book (below) shows how generative AI can be used for a new product launch and can provide any tactical output.

Generative Experience & Differentiators
Unlike many other consultants and consultancies, 5 things make me quite different.
Prologue: By nature, I tend to fall in the loving, well-communicating, and respectful group…but I am also in the explorative, creative, innovative, outspoken, and semi-rebellious segment of humanity. However, I make up for this childhood issue 🙂 by being a kind, grateful, and passionate soul who loves working with people and sees the possibilities in everyone. (Again, this is my neuro-psych, life coach voice talking.) “Being real,” I do challenge leaders to change. I try not to. It’s a been hard problem to solve in myself. lol.
1. Generative AI Experience in active Selling and Marketing
I have 15 months selling, architecting, and partnering on generative AI + low code with 20+ early-stage companies, several larger companies, and 20+ consulting firms. This included marketing to 100,000s. Below, we have a 6 of 30 use cases from my book (see page 32).
(My last company automated my solution architect skills via Gen AI!)
2. Generative AI Pilots for Sales, Marketing, & Engineers
While leading revenue and solution architect functions at my last employer, I piloted/proved the results of five Gen AI apps (see page 34). I saw, first hand, how a Gen AI bot can do part of my skilled job:
- Sales content automation—produced all types of sales content.
- Marketing content automation—produced any marketing content.
- Solution architecture automation—the company was building a gen AI product intended to automate me. After pivoting, it seems they have!
- Customer inquiry automation—answer any customer question.
- Video email with video dynamic AI-driven audience personalization.
3. 25+ Years of Breadth in CRM and Analytics Software
I am experienced in all aspects of CX and CRM software at multiple market leading firms. I also have extensive working knowledge of analytics technology (Did I live page 44? Really?):
- Website analytics: WebTrends/Google
- Reporting: Actuate/Siebel
- Business intelligence: Siebel
- Predictive analytics: Oracle
- Data science: Pivotal/VMware
- Artificial intelligence: Pivotal
- Machine learning: Pivotal/MadLib
- Text analysis: HDP/Solr/Eleveo
- Sentiment analysis: Solr, Eleveo
- Search faceting: Solr/Eleveo
- SaaS financials: SaaS Optics
- PLG/CX @ # archie: Pendo, FS
4. Natural Creative with Innovation-first Mindset
Inspired by 4 years of college innovation labs, redesigning 80+ products—from milk cartons and tricycles to coffee makers and UIs—in 4 years. I spent 25+ years applying “design thinking” to every professional work output on product, sales, marketing, consulting, PLG, and services teams. I am also a multimedia artist and play 6 instruments. I’m weird.
5. Executive and/or Frontline Level Output
Lastly, I’ve done the following at multiple companies. Led dialogue and presentations for executive team decisions. Created operations from scratch or made measurable improvements in existing operations. And, with many startup experiences, I still have hands-on skills with digital ads, emails, CRM management, graphic design, writing, and more.
6. I play a CTO, data science evangelist nerd on TV/Blog
I don’t write code. But, I understand code. I do use tools and platforms and runtimes. And, I can communicate about these well: Javascript, Java, Adobe, SQL, NoSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, HTML, CSS, Python, Cloud, S/P/IaaS, low/no code (14 years?), Apache Bigtop|Geode| Hadoop| MADlib|Solr|Spark. use cases, stories, UI, GPTs, and jeez. CRM and analytics 25+ years. Ya. I’m a dork.
Example Business Outcomes & Ethos
Here are examples of the results and impacted metrics. Note: My pricing can be based on outcomes—but most risk models make it hard to work out. My service packages can be built for any budget and are aligned with company size. My ethos aligns with helping others and being grateful.
